#53: Puzzle Spotlight: KenKen

Hello, and welcome. With these three puzzles, the first year of Puzzles for Progress is complete! (I get that this is Issue #53, not #52–since I published Issue #1 on a Tuesday, and then on Fridays from then on.) So that's quite a milestone!

In other milestone news, Puzzles for Progress has just hit 69 subscribers! 69 squared (4,761) and 69 cubed (328,509) together comprise all the digits 0 to 9, exactly once. It's the only number with this property. Also, if you take the factors of 9, the factors of 8, and so on down to 1, and add them all up, you get 69. This makes it a very nice number! (I learned these facts from 3Blue1Brown's live streams.)

In any case, this week, I'm putting a classic puzzle, KenKen, in the spotlight, a richly deserved spot. It's such a fun type.
