Hello, and welcome to Puzzles for Progress! This week we have Enclosures, which, among all Puzzle Spotlight puzzles, is the one that I've made least frequently in the past. It's also the only puzzle that I've personally concepted! Yes, Enclosures is a Jacob Cohen original, and I'm pretty happy with how it's evolved over the years. It's also Capsules' reverse/evil twin/BFF/something like that–I never really settled on a term.

Penpa
While I know some of y'all (and me!) prefer to print out puzzles, I know there are also many of y'all who either don't have access to a printer or just prefer to do your puzzles online. Now, puzz.link is definitely my favorite interface for this, but they don't support every possible pencil puzzle–and certainly not Enclosures, since I'm the one who created it! But Penpa Plus, often just referred to as Penpa (a shortening of "pencil puzzle") doesn't have that problem–it supports pretty much every puzzle imaginable.
However, as a result of that, the interface is a bit convoluted, with many different buttons to choose from. To use Enclosures, you'll want to create edges; to do that, drag your cursor down the edge you want to create. Clicking the two squares on either side of the edge will not work. If you want, you can switch to the Line tool up top to connect squares you know are together, but you'll have to go back to Edge in order to actually solve the puzzle. But do feel free to experiment!
